  Stamping parts manufacturers details the basic requirements for stamping parts processing materials. From the perspective of stamping parts processing, the mechanical properties, surface quality and thickness tolerance of stamping parts materials shall meet the following basic requirements:

  1. The material used for blanking shall have sufficient plasticity and low hardness to improve the quality of the blanking section and dimensional accuracy.

  Among them, soft materials have good blanking performance, hard materials (such as stainless steel and high carbon steel) have poor blanking section quality, brittle materials are prone to tear and other phenomena during blanking.

  2. Materials used for bending shall have sufficient plasticity, low yield strength, and high elastic modulus.

  Among them, the material with good plasticity is not easy to bend and crack, and the material with lower yield strength and higher elastic modulus has a smaller rebound.

  3. The material used for deep drawing shall have good plasticity, lower yield strength and hardness, and a larger directional coefficient of plate thickness.

  Among them, materials with high hardness are difficult to draw and form. Materials with small yield ratio or large plate thickness directivity coefficient are easy to draw and form.

  4. The surface of the material shall be smooth and clean, free from scratch, scratches and other defects, so as not to affect the appearance quality of the product, and facilitate the processing of stamping parts, welding, spraying, and other subsequent processing.

  5, the thickness of the material tolerance should meet certain requirements:

  If the material thickness is too poor, it will not only directly affect the quality of stamping parts and die life, but also produce waste products or damage the die.
